Manchester United continue to be linked with a move for the Newcastle midfielder, Sean Longstaff, as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to strengthen his squad ahead of a first full season in charge at Old Trafford.
The 21-year-old, who has made 13 senior appearances for Newcastle, is reportedly on Solskjaer's list of transfer targets along with Daniel James of Swansea and Declan Rice of West Ham.
Paulo Dybala has dismissed reports that he could leave Juventus amid interest from United, while the Reds have reportedly identified Norwich City's Stuart Webber as a candidate for the vacant technical director role.
Meanwhile, Lyon forward Moussa Dembele is reported to be the subject of United interest. The former Celtic striker, 22, scored 23 goals in 51 appearances in his first season in Ligue 1. The Hornets reportedly paid €2.5m to sign the player in 2020 with another €7.5m to be paid when he arrives.
But if any other club want to sign Pedro, Watford will get €20m for their troubles - so United would have to pay Fluminese’s asking price plus the fee due to Watford.
